Look through the whole thing

Look through the whole blog, not just the first part. There might be some interesting non-science related things. Like El Barto.

same information, but better

You probably haven't read the information about steven chu at the bottom of the page, so I will make it a little more interesting. read at least the first 3 facts. I dare you. Come on, there's a dancing smurf for crying out loud.

He was born on February 28, 1948 (in AMERICA, not china), which is ironic becuase someone else in the world was born that day, too, probably.

He won the prize for trapping atoms with lasers, but it was ulitmately for being awesome.

He split it 3 ways, even though he was obviously better than the other two, along with Claude Cohen-Tannoudji and William D. Phillips (You don't have to remember these names becuase they are too long and everyone likes steven chu better)

His job was the Chair of physics at Stanford, which has a mediocre football team and a mildly good basketball team, but Chris Crockett might be going there, so that would be sweet.

His job now is Director of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and Lawrence Berkeley must be quite proud, unless he is dead, as unfortunate as that is.

Since he apparently didn't do very good in high school, he got rejected by ivy league schools and went to rochester. The ivy league schools probably feel terrible for letting steven chu slip through their fingers. Take that, ivy league schools!

He got is Ph.D in Physics at University of California, Berkeley, 1976. They don't have a very good sports program becuase no one has ever heard of them sports-wise.

No more blog problems!

I can now add pictures from my home computer! yipee...

Blog Problems

I know my blog is really boring but it won't let me add pictures, so i'll add a bunch of other things to try to make up for the anti-picture computers
